Background
Already well known in Eastern Europe Tenor Aleksandra is looking to further his career in Western Europe and America.
Aleksandar Sasha Petrovic was born in 1972 in Novi Sad, where he graduated to the Academy of Arts. His debut at the Serbian National Theatre was with the role of Alfredo in a Strauss operetta “The Bat”. He has also played the following roles: Serbian National opera - Macduff in “Macbeth” (Verdi), Alfredo in “La Traviatta”, Pinkerton in “Madame Butterfy” (Puccini), Ducca Di Mantova in “Rigoletto”, Duke of Reichstadt in “The Duke of Reichstadt” (P. Stojanovic), leading roles “The Resurrection” (F. Alphano) and “Toska” (Puccini).

Other credits to his name: Worked with Croatian Radio Television ,Sarajevo Philharmonics, and Ljubljana Opera ensemble where he sang Rosselini’ Slovenia. Rome Symphonic Orchestra, 9th symphony of Ludwig van Beethoven.
In 2007 he successfully firmed his repertoire with roles of Rodolpho in “La Boheme” (Puccini), Ismail in “Nabucco” (Verdi), Edgardo in “Lucia Di Lammermoor” (Donizetti). Sasa Petrovic is also a notable soloist for Novi Sad Radio Television.

He has won several prizes at “Zlatna tamburica” and “Beogradsko prolece” Festivals, as well as at International Ethno Festival in Maglaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Opera
