ABOUT UNDISCOVERED STARSAbout Dee Dee, owner of the Discovered Stars Agency and the founder and vocal coach of The Undiscovered Stars singing school, is originally from London. Extensively travelled as a cabaret singer over 3 decades performing abroad, Dee settled in Bedfordshire 6 years ago, giving up her cabaret circuit to teach in theatre schools. A qualified teacher of music, Dee decided to pass on her experience and knowledge to others, successfully introducing singing workshops and schools to the local areas. Dee believes that for most of the time since the birth of the record industry its infrastructures have governed what we hear and whom we hear. However in recent years POP IDOL, X FACTOR, FAME ACADEMY, BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT, and JOSEPH have opened the doors to all vocalists to demonstrate their talent to a wider audience. “THE UNDISCOVERED” PUTS ORDINARY PEOPLE WITH OUTSTANDING VOICES ON STAGE. Now expanding into Warwickshire and NW London, the popularity of her vocal teaching is growing fast. Dee endeavours to train her pupils to use their voices to the full using her own tried and tested breathing techniques, her unique vocalising and through identifying the correct type of songs best suited to each individual voice. Dee is a member of Noda (National Opera and Dramatic Society) and Aotos (Association of Teachers of Singing). She is trained in Estill voice craft with compulsory figures. Dee offers a wide range of lessons including: Piano - Beginner to level 3 Dee has enhanced CRB clearance to work in schools and as a private tutor. |
